Monte delle Vigne

Description

Monte delle Vigne vineyards stretch over 60 hectares, producing typical Emilia wines. Rolling hills, soft features lines that from 300 meters descend to the right bank of the River Taro.
Exposure to the east for white grapes and to the west for the red grapes allow for perfect ripening, while the high day / night temperature range created by the cold currents coming down from the 1050 meters of the Cisa Pass, give the grapes elegance and aromatic finesse.
High-density vineyards, 6,000 plants per hectare, with production per block that does not exceed 1.5 kg per plant: great concentration to obtain excellent quality.
In the west, Barbera, Bonarda and Lambrusco, a red symbol in our land; on the planes Merlot and a closed Cabernet Franc, to be vinified purely.
In the east, the white grapes: Malvasia di Candia, Sauvignon and Chardonnay for traditional white wines and classical sparkling wines, of great flavour and freshness.
